Self-consistency Mesh Generation Method by Using a Local Wave Transmission Method with Damp

In this paper we present a new method called wave transmission method, to generate a complex hexahedral mesh model from existing FE regular hexahedron mesh. The mathematical model has been established and the mesh generation is implemented by program. The results shown that, by the method, an FE discrete hexahedral mesh model complex in shape could be generated when the shape of the side applies to regular mesh side as a wave constraint. The mesh generation process in the method is quite efficient, and the generated mesh is free of loss or deficiency of element?node. In addition, the method is not confined by element type.
