Fabric Realistic Image Rendering

To simulate visual effect of pattern on fabric, a multiple-sampled rendering algorithm is presented. One pattern and its corresponding visual effect on the fabric is considered as one sample pair, and the characteristics of certain fabric can be expressed by one or more sample pairs. Given certain samples, the algorithm can simulate the fabric visual effect of patterns by texture analogy. Experiments show that the approach is well-performed on a wide range of fabrics, and the results are satisfactory.
