Volume Information Extraction for Complicated Shape and Self-Adaptive Algorithm for Mesh Generation

摘要: 在机械零件的计算机辅助分析(CAE)过程中,准确、高效地确定计算区域的空间位置并进行网格划分,对于CAE系统的完善性、体图形学及科学计算可视化的发展,都具有十分重要的意义.文中基于LMT的思想方法,提出一种从表面数据模型出发,提取空间体信息、建立体几何模型的方法,并在此基础上自适应地进行计算网格的划分.将该方法应用于CAE系统的前处理过程,对于形状复杂的构件具有较好的适用性.Abstract: In the process of computer aided engineering for mechanical parts, it is very important to identify the computational field accurately and efficiently. Based on Layered Manufacturing Technology, a method to build volume model from surface model with self-adaptive subdivision of computational field into discrete grids is presented. This method can be applied to the pretreatment of CAE system, and the result for complicated model works well.
