Color Transfer by Steerable Pyramid

  • 摘要: 提出了一个基于控向金字塔的颜色传递算法,其基本思想是在目标图像和源图像对应的子带信息中分别实现统计信息的传递统计信息包含各子带信息的均值、方差、偏度系数和峰度系数 为了避免通道交叉,目标图像和源图像的RGB像素信息首先被变换至与分量无关的lαβ颜色空间 然后对变换后的各分量分别进行控向金字塔分解,并在倒塌金字塔时实现统计信息的传递 作为灵活的图像变换结构,控向金字塔允许对需传递的子带进行选择,从而可以获得多种不同的结果.

     

    Abstract: This paper describes a steerable pyramid-based method for color transfer between images. The primary idea of the work is that the statistical information is transferred from the target subbands to their corresponding source subbands respectively, where all those subbands are analyzed by a steerable pyramid. Statistical information in this paper includes expectations, standard variances, skewnesses and kurtoses of all subbands. The pixel values of source image and target image are first transformed into the lαβ color space in order to prevent undesirable intercrosses between R, G and B channels. The transformed channel data are then analyzed respectively by a steerable pyramid, and statistical information is finally transferred during collapsing the pyramid. Being a flexible architecture, steerable pyramid provides a mechanism for selecting the needed subbands to be transferred, which results in generating different results.
