图像放大的偏微分方程方法

Image Zooming Based on Partial Differential Equations

  • 摘要: 在分析一些常见的图像放大方法的基础上,根据图像像素值特点及近期偏微分方程在图像处理中的应用,将图像的像素值看作是平面物体的温度;利用偏微分方程理论中的热传导数学模型,提出了基于一种新颖的热传导方程初边值问题的图像放大法;并根据其物理意义,设计相应的差分算法.实验证明,这是一种有效的图像放大方法.

     

    Abstract: In this paper, based on some property in digital image and the theory on the application of partial differential equations in image processing, we take the pixel values of an image as the temperature of some plane object. By applying the theory of partial differential equations and the theory of image zooming in image processing, we derive a mathematical model based on a new type of initial and boundary value problem for heat equations for image zooming. We also design a difference scheme for experiments. Our experimental results show that the model works well on the image zooming and reaches better quality of zoomed image.
