基于粒子系统的织物仿真模拟

Fabric Simulation Based on Mechanics of Particle System

  • 摘要: 以粒子系统为建模基础,根据织物悬垂变形的基本特征,通过构造弯曲、剪切等内在影响因素和重力等外部约束条件,并结合经典力学的刚体碰撞理论,计算织物模型与其它物体间的碰撞与接触,从而生成动态悬垂仿真图形.

     

    Abstract: Fabric is represented as a particle system undergoing various internal and external mechanical constraints such as structural integrity,bending and shearing forces,etc.A collision algorithm in terms of the classical theory of rigid body colliding is employed to simulate the dynamic draping behavior of fabric.Approaches of accomplishing numerical integration in solving the differential equations are discussed.Acceptable visual results are produced on PC in 3 to 10 minutes.
