Abstract: A novel public key image watermarking system is presented in the paper. Data owner can embed identification into the original data and retrieve it from the watermarked data by using his private key, while every data user can detect the identification by using public key from the watermarked image. The data user can't forge the private key and destroy or erase the identification embedded into the original image by using public key.
