Abstract: This paper discusses some key technologies on tube bending simulation, and establishes an integrated simulation model of the series tube bending machines. The definition of NC instructions and rational quadratic Bézier curve representation describing tube centerline are given, and the real-time dynamic modeling of tubes is also realized. Finally, a collision and interference detection method during the tube bending simulation is proposed.
