快速成型制造中截面信息的计算方法研究

Research on Calculating Cross-Sectional Information in Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing

  • 摘要: 在快速成型制造中,截面信息的计算速度是影响分层处理效率的关键环节之一.文中分析了三角形面片与切平面的位置关系,提出了一种高效的截面信息计算方法,该算法还可用于有缺陷的STL模型的分层处理.采用该算法可以取消进行半径补偿时所需进行的内外轮廓识别这一环节.实际应用表明,该算法使分层处理速度大大提高.

     

    Abstract: The calculation speed of cross-sectional information is one of the key links affecting the efficiency of slicing in Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing. In this paper, the position relationship between a facet and a slicing plane is analyzed, and a highly rapid and efficient algorithm for calculating cross-sectional information is proposed, which also can be used for imperfect STL model. The identification of inner and outer contours needed for radius compensation can be omitted. Practical applications show that it can greatly improve the efficiency of slicing.
