Abstract: This paper discusses decomposition of combinational fuctions, and presents a design method by which the minimal or near minimal design of a tree-type logic network realized by using multiplexer universal logic modules can be obtained. Using this method, multiplexer logic network synthesis can easily be accomplished automatically.
