Abstract: In parametric CAD design, unreasonable parameter values in a parametric model often result in improper shape of the geometric object. Furthermore, the process of reconstruction may fail due to these unreasonable values. An algebraic algorithm for determining the valid range of parameter values is proposed. The complexity of the algorithm is O(n^2 log n).
