凸起形状特征在集成过程中的处理技术

PROTRUSION-FEATURES HANDLING IN THE DESIGN OF INTEGRATION-ORIENTED PROCESS

  • 摘要: 凸起形状特征在基于特征的CAD/CAM系统中是一种逆于切削加工生成的形状特征,在集成过程中需作必须的处理和转换.本文认真分析了在集成过程中处理凸起形状特征所必须解决的问题,提出了面向集成的CAD系统设计策略,引入半空间思想进行了基于几何推理的凸起形状特征的转换处理,反映了一种系统化的集成思想和凸起形状特征的处理方法.

     

    Abstract: A mechanical part may be designed with both protrusion and depression features. Since depression features correspond to machining process, they are easy to handle during process planning and NC cutter-path generation. However, it is difficult for protrusion features. This paper describes a method which translates the protrusion features to depression features based on an algorithm of geometric reasoning in the design of integration-oriented process.
