Abstract: This paper presents an objected-oriented design process(including concurrent design process) modeling technology.On the basis of the model,it uses Design Structure Matrix(DSM) to optimize the design process in order to shorten product developing time.An example of designing gear box is given and its times used before and after the optimization are listed,the method has an exciting result.
