Abstract: Modeling of 3D constraint system is fussy and time-consuming that retards the development of 3D variational techniques. In order to generate the model of 3D constraint system automatically, an approach based on translating the BREP structure and extracting the essential constraints in feature definition is presented. A prototype is implemented in a CAD system of InteSolid 2.0.
