Abstract: The problem of homogeneous landmarks in the procedure of medical image registration is solved via deformable contour model，and the genetic algorithm（GA） is used to search the optimal results．The experimental results show that the proposed method can efficiently establish the correspondence between medical atlas and medical images，which is an important improvement to the previous interactive methods．
