Abstract: This paper presents a class of quadratic non-uniform hyperbolic B-spline curves with multiple shape parameters. Taking different values of the shape parameters,shape of the curves can be modified globally or locally.Without using multiple knots or solving system of equations,the curves can directly interpolate certain control points and control edges.Further,the hyperbola can be represented by the proposed curves accurately.
