Abstract: This paper develops two methods to represent a pattern on the mesh, that is, the method of absolute direction and the method of following direction. The properties and conversion of these methods are presented. The methods without using the algebraic equation to solve geometric problems with the aid of computer detection are given and the required accurateness is obtained. The curve of the linkage moving on free curves is given with this method.
