Abstract: The design philosophy, syntax and implementation techniques of procedural pattern assembling language PASL are described. With a simple syntax, PASL has strong expressive power and can generate complex patterns. It alleviates the repetitive work in the design process. With interface to case based reasoning engine, it has certain reasoning ability.
