应用构形空间理论处理自由曲面加工的干涉问题

Interference Checking of Free-Form Surface Machining Based on Construction Space Concept

  • 摘要: 文中简述了自由曲面数控加工编程中干涉检查的各种方法.利用构形空间概念,提出一种自由曲面加工的干涉检查算法.该算法先得到刀位面和保护面的离散三角片表示,然后根据三角片的上包络求刀位轨迹,从而避免干涉.算法适合于用球头刀、圆角刀和平底端刀的任意加工方式的三轴铣削,且实用、稳定、可靠.

     

    Abstract: Methods of interference checking in NC programming are briefly discussed. A new approach for interference detection in 3-axis NC machining of sculptured surfaces based on the concept of construction space is introduced. The space is first divided into millable space and gouge one, and then the toolpath segments in the gouge space are checked and eliminated. To detect cutter interference, the cutter-location-surface and safeguard-surface of the part are discretized and triangulated. Then, the gouge free toolpath is generated based on the uppermost envelope of these triangles. The algorithm described is stable and reliable, and is suitable for ball-end, fillet-end and flat-end cutters.
