Abstract: The paper covers models of generating emotion,models of personality,and methods of generating expression.The fundamental ideas and key techniques in those aspects are analyzed in detail.In addition,a few typical systems,especially a summary on how to apply the techniques onto the virtual agent, have been introduced also.Finally,the paper puts forward several problems that are to be further tackled on emotion for virtual agent.
