Abstract: One of the fundamental problems in feature modeling system is to map topological entities consistently between the new model and old one. A topological element identifying system is presented which can map every topological element to an exclusive identifier, and the mapping is strictly one-to-one. Identifying system is the important part of feature modeling system GDS, and based on it further functions such as feature editing are implemented.
