Abstract: The paper introduces the general design scheme of a CAD system for interior decoration design developed on personal computer, and discusses the keytechniques for implementation of this system. The approachs of interior decoration design posed in this paper combine the surface decoration and the layout design in 3D space and make the whole design simplied and effective. On the other hand,in order to implement them on personal computers,some algorithms in computer graphics field have been improved.
