Abstract: This paper proposes a new CAD/CAPP/CAM integration methodology and builds up an application protocol oriented feature modeling system based on the STandard for the Exchange of Product data(STEP). This work showes that the method realizes the information integration by STEP not only on a general meaning, but also on an expanded meaning for STEP application protocol methodology.
