弯曲成形动态模拟系统——BSIMU

BSIMU: A BEND FORMING ANIMATION SYSTEM

  • 摘要: 本文针对自动弯曲机模具设计的关键环节之一——弯曲成形过程的实现,介绍了利用CAD技术进行动态模拟的BSIMU系统。描述了与其相关的模型的建立方法;成形动态模拟中所涉及的数据结构及处理方法;详细分析和介绍了模拟中从预处理、中间成形到边界成形全过程的整套算法及实施情况,并给出了算法框图;讨论了特殊情况的处理方法;叙述了工件在成形模拟中几何信息的获取和校正的方法;同时还讨论了本系统的适用范围。作为BSIMU的实际应用,本文最后给出了一个较为复杂的弯曲件动态成形模拟的实例。

     

    Abstract: The realization of bend forming is one of the key link in the design and manufacture of forming die of automatic bending machine. This paper, by discussing the procedure of bend forming, introduces the BSIMU system which employs the CAD technique in the bend forming animation; proposes the related methods of model establishing, the data structure employed in bend forming and its manipulation; describes in detail the complete algorithms and its implementation from preprocessing, intermediate processing, to boundary processing of forming animation. The flow diagram is also given, and some particular cases are discussed. In order to maintain the congruity of geometric relations of workpiece during forming, an algorithm is devised to fetch and correct the geometric information of workpiece. The application scope of the system is also discussed. As a real application of the BSIMU system, a comparatively complicated bend forming case is illustrated.
