Abstract: The developing trends and problems of Geographical Information（GIS） and Spatial Decision Support System are discussed，and then it is pointed out that introducing Agent technology into GIS and SDSS provides a new and effective method for solving those problems．An Agent-based distributed GIS model（Geo-Agents） and an Agent-based SDSS model are introduced and the architecture，components，working mode and developing trend of them are also discussed．
