Abstract: In this paper, a more systematic summary is made on the intrinsic concepts of multi-model adaptive control, which include plant parameter space partition, model location. model classification. etc.. Based upon these concepts, a system structure and algorithm mainframe are proposed, and furthermore the procedures are given for design and simulation of the systems.
