Abstract: Interactive interface,which has efficient,flexible,and convenient capabilities,provides strong supports to content-based map retrieval system.The interface based on technologies of image processing and semantic model has been designed.The paper presents the architecture of interface,the data structure describing the content of map,and also explains the manipulation approaches for realizing various functions.In the final part,it gives an example of application to show the effects of visual interactive interface.
