Abstract: This paper discusses the procedure to develop the 3-D basic components model library for the representation of Chinese classical style garden scenery by using a solid modeling system, and to represent the design projects of Chinese classical style garden by means of such 3-D components model library.It also discusses the various application fields of such CAD approach in practice.
