Abstract: The thesis focuses on how to improve image quality with least manual work and best effect．It analyzes the factors affecting color image quality．Based on them it discusses the objective and principles of automatic quality adjustment．And then it describes the processes including redundant color subtraction，contrast enhancement， brightness optimization，hue adjustment and clarity improvement in detail．The algorithm is suitable to webpage browsing．A large amount of cases show that its success rate reaches 90%．
