Abstract: Although generic tool of transform from 3-D entity to 2-D are supported by many commercial CAD packages,it is still not so effective in design applications.This paper proposes two algorithms based on priority analysis and graph traversal respectively to automatically choose the section cut of key features such as holes and slots.Efficiency and reliability are enhanced for the template based generation of press tool drawing.
