Abstract: Based on multi-layer mechanism, a practical layout system integration is studied and implemented in this paper. The whole layout system is integrated in three different layers, respectively called the data interface layer (DIL), the data management layer (DML) and the data display layer (DDL). A quad-tree data structure is used in DDL to accelerate the graphics demonstration and the interaction between users and the system.
