Z39.50客户系统的设计与实现

DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A Z39.50 CLIENT

摘要: Internet上存在着众多的Z39.50服务器,它们大都和图书馆等文献情报服务机构的书目数据库相连,为用户提供联机检索服务.目前的Web浏览器还不支持Z39.50协议,检索这些服务器需要Z39.50客户系统,但目前国内还很难见到这样的Z39.50客户系统.文章介绍了一个Z39.50客户系统的设计方案和具体实现,讨论了其中的关键问题,给出了解决办法.实际系统的成功开发和试运行的结果证明了设计方案的可行性.

Abstract: There are many Z39.50 servers on the Internet，which are providing on-line bibliographic data service． Current Web browsers do not support access to Z39.50 servers and a Z39.50 client is needed．Since there is little such client available，in this paper，a design of a Z39.50 client is given．Critical technology to the implementation of the client is discussed．An actual system developed shows that the design is feasible．
