指纹图像帧序列拼接的波形匹配算法

摘要: 为了获得完整的指纹图像,提出一种基于波形匹配的指纹图像帧序列拼接算法.该算法从每个图像帧的参考区域提取波形信息,通过计算波形相似度并引入逐步求精的拼接策略,分3个阶段获得拼接参数,确定图像帧之间的重叠和水平移位.实验结果表明,文中算法运算量小、运算速度快、占用系统资源少,特别适用于资源有限环境中的自动指纹识别系统.Abstract: A wave matching based algorithm for fingerprint image frame series mosaicking is proposed to obtain a complete fingerprint image.In this algorithm,part of the frame is selected as reference region to extract wave information.Based on wave comparability,a stepwise refinement strategy is adopted to calculate the parameters in three sequential stages.Experiments show that the proposed algorithm can rapidly obtain correct mosaicking image with low computational cost.The algorithm is especially suitable for those automated fingerprint identification systems(AFIS) where the computational resource is extremely constrained.
