Abstract: This paper reports our work about improving the graphics abilities of the NEC-ACOS computer (male in Japan),from the original batch mode to interactive mode, their features, usages, design ideas and ftve figures generated for examples.By interactivization we mean to develope a series of interactive features and a set of subpro grams ia the intelligent terminal library to simulate the 50 graphics subprograms in the host library, so that before we generate drawing on the host plotter, we may echo, chcck and modify the simulated image on the off-line terminal by this new system until it is errorfree.Some advanced features such as 3-dimensional graphics are developed as well, which are not pro vided by the originel system.
