Abstract: This paper introduces and makes some comments on technique for NC machining simulation and points out that the intergration of geometric modelling and cutting force simulation is its developing tendency. A combination of Jerard's objectspace surface discretization techniques and Wang's five-axis swept volume model with the vector intersection techniques may provide an efficient and robust method for verification of five-axis NC machining.
