Abstract: It is one of the major leaders in improving the migration, reliability and expansibility of graphics software to develbp an advanced graphical system based on graphics standards. This paper discusses the interrelating technology of developing a general design & drafting system(DDS) in GKS environment, presents the main functions and features of DDS based on GKS, and also gives the method of its implementation with the uses of engineering drafting.
