面向动态流程工厂模型的快速分层层次细节法

A Fast Approach for Constructing Hierarchical Levels of Details of Dynamic Process Plant Model

  • 摘要: 分析了现有基于面片的分层层次细节算法在处理大规模动态流程工厂模型时存在的预处理时间过长、更新操作耗时等不足,提出一种新的基于基本体元的快速分层层次细节方法.该方法在体元级别对设备和元件进行聚合,对管线进行分割,建立场景图,然后基于几何参数和形状特征计算各体元的层次细节.利用管子及其元件的拓扑连接关系构成"组合管子",在体元级别对其进行合并简化.实验结果表明,对具有10M左右面片复杂度的动态流程工厂模型,该方法在普通PC机上能够在保证一定绘制质量的前提下将模型绘制速率平均提高3倍左右,并且将预处理时间控制在7min以内.

     

    Abstract: To reduce the long preprocessing and updating time of current hierarchical levels of detail(HLOD)algorithms for large,dynamic process plants,a new HLOD algorithm based on the entity of the dynamic process plant models is proposed.The plant is represented by a scene graph based on the grouping and partitioning of the entities.The HLOD of each entity is computed conforming to its geometry parameters and shape feature.The pipe and its adjoining components are combined into a joint entity.Our algorithm can be implemented on a desktop PC and achieves up to about 3 times acceleration when rendering large scale dynamic process plant models composed of tens of millions triangles with little loss in image quality.It reduces the whole preprocessing time for HLOD computation to 7 minutes.
