Abstract: Based on an existing indoor photograph, a method for rendering indoor scenes for new lighting conditions is presented. A basic method for modeling sunlight effects at various time is proposed. To simplify shadow generation, a simple calculation method under novel lighting conditions is deduced. A method for creating blurred shadow borders is given. This research result can be applied to animation, virtual realty, and indoor light design, etc.
