Abstract: To break through the limitations of STL format, we propose a novel MSlice format for multi-slice model. It takes the accurate contour lines of slices cut from the B-rep model of part and can be generated readily by AutoCAD functions. After testing the file model in AutoCAD 2000, we have implemented it into the self-developed selective laser sintering device.
