Abstract: CAXA-EB is a homegrown commercial CAD software. The architecture of "Software Bus & Components" and the essential thinking of "Concentrated Management, Distributed Processing" are described. Some kernel technology associated with the architecture, such as application framework, data organization and management, message distribution and flow control, functional component control, user interface customization, user development toolkit, etc are discussed. Finally, prospect of technology evolution in the future is outlined.
