射线探测法在模具CAD自动化分模中的应用

Ray-Test Approach to Identify Surface Visibility for Parting line Generation

  • 摘要: 提出一种射线探测算法,能自动识别制品表面在给定分模方向上的可见性,将制品表面划分为凸模可见、凹模可见面集合和干涉面集合,并采用平切面方法求凸、凹模面集合在分模方向上的轮廓线,取二者公共部分为分模线.该算法鲁棒性好,计算速度快,具有很强的处理复杂零件的能力,有一定的工程应用价值.在CAXA制造工程师2004平台上实现了射线探测法分模,并给出了测试算例和结果.

     

    Abstract: Vertical rays casting towards the workpiece from top to bottom and vice versa are used to detect the visibility of its surfaces and classify the m into die,punch and undercut ones.Once the parting direction of a mould is defined,its parting lines can be readily got as the contour lines where the boundaries of die surfaces visible from top align with those of punch surfaces visible from bottom.
