拟合任意空间曲面的三角函数方法

A TRIGONOMETRIC-FUNCTION BASIS ALGORITHM FOR THE NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF ARBITRARILY CURVED SURFACES

  • 摘要: 在CAGD中,曲线曲面拟合一般采用多项式作为基函数,而本文提出了一种基于三角函数的拟合方法.它具有B样条的主要优点,并达到了C3连续性,而三次B样条只能达到C2,它还解决了多项式不能描述椭圆的问题,因此,这一方法适用于自由曲线曲面的设计.本文还结合实例说明了用此方法进行造型设计的技术.

     

    Abstract: In CAGD,polynomials are usually employed as the basic functions for the interpolation of curves and surfaces. In this paper, a new kind of approximation curves and surfaces based on the trigonometric functions is developed, which retains the main superiority of B-splines method and meets C3 continuity while the cubic B-splines can only meet C2 continuity. Besides, the present method works for the case of ellipses,while polynomial does not. An example is given to illustrate the design of a modeling configuration.
