一种新的分层模型四面体重构算法

A New Algorithm in tetrahedron Tessellation and Reconstruction of Layered Model

  • 摘要: 断层数据广泛存在于医学、地质、气象及无损探伤领域,对断层数据的体重构是科学计算可视化研究的一个重要课题.文中提出了一种新的基于四面体的分层模型体重构方法,在对医学解剖图像集进行处理后,用本算法可以得到分层次的几何模型.将该体模型应用于虚拟手术研究中,可以更加逼真地仿真生物体组织在手术器械作用下的变形和切割过程.

     

    Abstract: Enormous cross section data were generated in medicine,geography,aerodynamics, etc.After extracting the isolines of medical cross-section data set,we first link every two adjacent contours by triangular facets and then progressively fill the volume of each specific substance with tetrahedra to obtain the layered geometrical model for virtual surgery and scientific visualization.Our algorithm has the advantages of running fast,taking small space of storage,easy to control the shape of each tetrahedron and almost no need to insert new inner nodes.
