Abstract: An improved ATPG-based algorithm for maximum power estimation is presented. In our approach,the maximum circuit power is estimated by greedily assigning transitions to capacitive nodes and algorithm is speeded up by cutting down the searching space according to its relation with estimation of power.And the algorithm can be extended to the sequential circuits.
