Abstract: The requirements，framework architecture and object model of the dimensioning sub-system in 3D parametric feature-based system are analyzed．The overall framework and key arithmetic are presented．Details of the realization of key algorithms such as intelligent judgement of dimension type，intelligent capture of correlated dimensions and intelligent snap of key points which constitute the basis of the intelligent dimensioning immersive environment are explored．
