Abstract: Based on object-oriented GIS model and spatial database technology, a basic spatial database system was built on object-oriented DBMS "Jasmine". By implementing some key techniques, including spatial index (V-Reactive tree), spatial query and dynamic buffer management, a 3D GIS experimental system was created, which provides many typical functions, such as LOD visualization, multi-scale and spatial query.
