Abstract: Based on the function generator on0,1,a class of complete orthogonal function system called V-system is studied in this paper.A translation algorithm is proposed between B-spline and V-system.The concept of "Distance" of B-spline is given.The similarity of B-spline can be computed.This result has wide applications in engineering models,criminal identifying,archaeology,medical recognition,etc.
