Abstract: A new 3D ship arrangement CAD system based on Solid Modeling is proposed.It provides visible simulated designing environment for designer and researcher and greatly improves the efficiency and quality of design and research.The 3D model,structure,function,developing method and features about the system are mainly described in this paper.
