Abstract: This paper introduces a weights optimization method which makes uniform rational B-spline curves fairness.The trapezoid integration is used to approximatly calculate the second derivative norm and the third derivative norm and the weights of fairing curves are obtained through calculation of optimization.Nonlinear optimization techniques are used in this paper.
