不变矩方法在区域匹配中的应用

Application of Moment Invariant Approach in Region Matching

  • 摘要: 提出了一种基于区域的立体匹配方法,该方法除了采用顺序性约束和惟一性约束外,根据外极线约束提出了外极带约束,采用比邻域约束更优越的相对位置约束,能有效地处理遮掩和区域变形情况下的双目立体匹配.在对多个候选匹配区域进行最佳匹配选择时,提出了重心距离和矩距离的概念,利用不变矩原理进行最佳候选区域选择.经实验证明,该方法是可行、有效的。

     

    Abstract: A method of region-based matching is presented in the paper. In addition to the traditional constraint conditions such as order constraint and unique constraint, a new constraint condition according to epipolar constraint is introduced to this algorithm where the relative position constraints better than adjacent constraint are adopted. This method can effectively handle binocular stereo matching in the case where occlusion regions and deformed regions are in stereo image pair. During selection of a best region among multiple candidate regions, the concepts on gravity distance and moment distance are proposed and used with moment invariant theory to determine the best matching region. The experimental results indicate that the approach using invariant moment to match stereo images is valid and feasible.
